At IFIS, specialist scientists monitor more than 1800 international journals as
well as: conference proceedings, theses, books, patents, standards, legislation,
reports, and other literature. Relevant records are selected by scientists for
inclusion in each Food Science Alert (fsa).
Each FSA also includes topics of relevance to food science in general, including:
biotechnology, hygiene & toxicology, engineering, packaging, and food economics. The
user has the option to include or exclude this information when performing searches.
